Colour: Clear, limpid, often "Golden" in colour. Their delicate and sticky 'clay' texture means that rapid oxygen uptake must be avoided as much as possible during the aging process. Wines from Les Couarres are marked by a spherical "stickiness" on the palate, followed by freshness with medium acidity throughout the finish.
